This mural created by Zest Artist Anton Pulvirenti tells the story of The Roasted Berry.
As the plant matures, it produces brilliant red berries. Housed inside these berries is a seed. Farm workers pick the berries by hand so the seed inside can be extracted and roasted. Once roasted, it becomes a coffee bean used to create the world’s most popular drink, enjoyed by many and is the heart of many social occasions.
The artwork was created on 4 panels and is over 7.5 m wide x 1.2m high. Anton produced the work in studio and the team at Mingara installed the finished artwork.
